For the second time this season, Kent Nagano returns to The Concertgebouw to conduct Abrahamsen’s opera, The Snow Queen. Premiered in 2019, this repertoire is vastly different to Nagano’s previous concert in November 2021, where he conducted Wagner’s Das Rheingold. On 20 May 2022, Kent Nagano conducts Dresdener Philharmonie at Frauenkirche as part of Dresden Music Festival 2022 . The programme includes Hosokawa ‘Stilles Meer’, Ives ‘The Unanswered Question’ as well as Bruckner Symphony No. 6. More information about the concert can be found here.
