Kent Nagano leads historic German Requiem at the OSM

Kent Nagano returns to La Maison Symphonique on 3 and 4 April to conduct Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem in its rarely performed 1868 Bremen version, offering audiences a unique chance to experience the work as it was originally conceived. 

Framing theRequiem within its musical lineage, the programme also includes excerpts from Bach’s St. Matthew Passion and Handel’s Messiah, among others, illuminating the sacred tradition that shaped Brahms’ vision.
