Kent Nagano debuts in Parma as Principal Artistic Partner of the Filarmonica Toscanini

Kent Nagano will lead the Filarmonica Toscanini in a landmark concert at the Auditorium Paganini, Parma, on 19 November, marking his inaugural appearance as the orchestra’s Principal Artistic Partner.

The programme contrasts Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.27 in B‑flat major, interpreted by Gabriele Strata, with Beethoven’s Symphony No.5. Framing these masterpieces are two of Berio’s celebrated Sequenze for solo violin and flute, performed by Mihaela Costea and Sandu Nagy, offering a daring contemporary counterpoint to the evening’s classical core.
